"Underpinning the EU Nature Restoration Regulation: Five success factors for effective measures in the Member States” has been jointly written by authors from the German Advisory Council on the Environment and two other German policy advisory councils. The article is based on the councils' statement from April 2024 on how nature restoration might be implemented more effectively and makes the key arguments now accessible to a broader international community. It argues that opportunities offered by the EU Nature Restoration Regulation must not be missed. It is open-access and can be downloaded from the Restoration Ecology website.
